5 Key  Points to Apply in Implementing   a  Successful WEIGHT MANAGEMENT  PROGRAMME

LESSON  ONE

Transform Body Shape  &   Lose weight using Advanced Planning

Now, what does this mean in practice? It’s all very well organizing your time, setting out your days activities in a timetable, but what does it mean for a person who has less time under their hands, stubborn fat to melt or wants to lose weight? Or for a person that has achieved a weight loss target or goal, but wants to maintain it?

Everyone is different, right?

Simply put, knowing how much time you can create in a day to work out, means that you can now divide that time into – the individualised approach and correct exercises you are going to take – and the specific types of exercises, intensity and method that will help you lose or maintain a healthy weight etc. Cardio, HIT-intervals and strength training burn lots of calories however they don’t necessarily build body-balance or specific core-muscle therefore is very important to include Pilates exercises within your fitness training routine.

If you have just 30 minutes a day left when you take out all of the activities you have to do – then assure that you plan ahead and start with a brisk walk, or a jog, or a cycle around the park as a good warm up and spice it up with 8-12 high intensity (HIT) outdoor running intervals and finish it with a Pilates warm down putting your body back in balance.

If you don’t have a lot of indoor space to exercise, then use some intensive jumping Jacks, chairs or a bench, heavy books and even laptop weight.

If you are more advanced use some weights, a TRX or a kettlebell or bespoke smart and intensive Second-Generation-Pilates to build your Core-Power-House and 6-Packs on a mat at the comfort of your home. The powerful authentic Pilates is very different from the watered down Pilates practiced in the gyms and studios, and provides you with infinitely more benefits. If you don’t have a Pilates mat for both indoor or outdoor exercise purpose simply use a thick dry towel to replace it as in the cool picture bellow.

Fig. 1 – For outdoor or indoor exercise or fun activities you can replace the Pilates mat with a good quality thick towel

You can improvise using water bottles and involve in your chosen weight loss fitness exercise routine as many main joints as possible in the movements to increase metabolic output, calorie burning and accelerate weight loss.

If you have longer to exercise, plan out a more thorough workout that involves:

  • Balanced individualised stretching✓
  • Complex dynamic warm ups✓
  • Intensive cardio sessions✓
  • Complete-body-weight-conditioning✓
  • Tailored Pilates exercise routines focused on core-work-athletics✓
  • Smart Core-Stability and Circuit Training✓
  • Stretching and cooling down techniques✓

Whatever it is, and however much time you have, organization helps you ensure that you are able to do that calories burning, mood and immunity boosting, cancer fighting and anti-aging amount of exercise every day; this balances your body-biochemistry and,  increases your blood pump throughout arteries and nutrients circulation in blood, feel good-chemical sky-rocketing your precious endorphin levels keeping you strong, toned, fit, and lean.
